And [insert screaming and panicking noises].

A question for daemains

Something I’m curious about, how far can you project your daemon from you before it becomes ‘uncomfortable’.

Obviously we can’t feel the kind of physical pain from stretching an almost tangible bond as described in the books, but Iver and I have found that there is a certain distance we can project his form to (roughly 10 foot) before we feel distinctly uncomfortable. We both get a kind of ‘nope this is very, very wrong’ feeling and he will instantly come back to me.

I wanted to know if this is experienced by anyone else? And if so, how far can you ‘stretch your bond’ so to say?

It’s an odd experience because by all means we should not be restrained by the same kind of rules as hdm daemons, Iver should be able to wander as far from me as he likes, but it feels incredibly wrong to do so.

Question For the Daemian Community?

Our system was working on something, and we started writing about how the “æ” symbol can be used/has been used as a symbol for daemonism, and we went to grab some sources to cite examples... (Because we love our citations.) ...And we can’t find any example of anyone using it as a symbol for daemonism. And now we’re wondering if our brain utterly made that up at some point. That our brain just made that up at some point and we’re misremembering.

 It is totally possible we’re misremembering, so we wanted to check.  Are we mistaken? Has that ever been a thing?
