set during the direct moments amidst the dragon attack. the lord celtigar has his arm around his best friend, @liver-y, pushing them through the crowds of the street of silk, terror all around them.
for once daemian regrets doing something or at least he thinks he regrets it. the pain searing his back, the last remnants of his tunic sticking to melted and broken skin. heat licked up his back still, even if the dragonfire had ceased upon them, the large wings flapping in the distance and daemian's eyes set on the sky above, white scales slipping past them with a command of the valyrian tongue. chaos is all around them, his arm still holding onto grover tightly. he cannot let go, not now, probably not ever. perhaps they were both at fault, but daeman would not hold it against his friend. "grove," he wheezes out, a cough tearing through his throat as pain shoots up his spine, his arm numb yet fingers gripping onto the flesh of his friend. "we have to—" he coughs again, eyes shutting tight as he steadies himself, "we need to get to get you to a maester or a healer. can you walk that far?"
