What was your first Final Fantasy? Would you recommend it to others for their first? (Mine was Final Fantasy 3 for DS, and that one's a "maybe" in my book.)

I really have so much fond memories of this game. Although as for me reccomending it... I’m mixed.

On one hand, it has a nice story, although they focus on the hero, rival, and heroine a bit too much IMO. And good god I hate the heroine, LIKE SHE’S THE TOP OF MY HATE LIST (SORRY LARA).

The game play is... very easy, to be honest. You can easily break the game with enough patience, and you can even do a minimal-level run. But the thing is that if the new player is anything like me, they’d think they have to keep drawing magic from the enemy, and you go “WELL I BETTER GET 100 SCANS OR I’LL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN”

... only to find out it was pointless halfway through.

Overall, I can recommend it as a first game, but there’s better options jasghjlsag))
