She can’t resist. Even though her arm is wrapped in long white bandages ( a little souvenir from that disastrous battle in Shinjuku ), and though she’s been given two weeks off, Chihiro still finds her feet taking her down the familiar path to the shooting range.
Dressed in a light sundress and ballet flats - her trusty weapon in its case at her feet - Chihiro settles herself onto the grass. The range is empty, except for one brunette, and her eyes are wistful as she watches him practice, wishing now, more than ever that she can join in.
well, where to start off. ok so, basically we just kinda die at the revelations.
like holy fukc what did we witness. Ok, backing back to the whole “they’re alive, whoo! moment” Rika was upset that while her teammates died, Shinoa is still alive and it’s like Rika is blaming her for her teammates deaths like, ok so Shinoa kinda protected Mika but she was also protecting Yuu, in a very strange way I guess???
And when Kimizuki tries to intervene, Shinoa just tells him no, like signals him to not interfere cuz she knows whats about to happn. She accepts that fact and even when she’s being held at swordpoint, she still doesnt really do anything, which to me was somewhat a kinda not submission but i felt it as a ‘ok if thats what’ll help you relieve your anger, go for it’
like i felt shinoa felt a little guilt about it but remember, she also lost a teammate in a way. Like, she doesnt know what hapened to yuu after mika took him away. heck, he could be dead for all she knows, which we know he’s still alive
as for the whole guren being namanari, i didnt quite understand it fully either, so im probably not the best person to ask but to me it seemed as though, not his dull moments he’s Mahiru, more like, when the situation arises he is either mahiru or guren, so depending what kind of situation i suppose. Like his demon weapon which we know is mahiru, is a possession type. From that we could have assumed so many things/
but truthfully, i feel like only during battle is that mahiru was taking over, because mahiru is so much more powerful in battle tbh. or even the whole ferid giving info out to the humans, that would most likely have been mahiru.
Idk if youve read the light novel but from my readings mahiru loves guren, like a lot, and its kinda to the point that she’d do anything to have him continue to live. and afterwards, gurens not fully human anymore. so its like, guren, isnt truly human anymore, even now.
like in the end when he pointed his sword at krul and said your gonna help me with the seraph experiment, i could guess thats mahiru speaking. i cant say for sure, its just part of my theory.

Mika was unusually quite this morning. Normally, the blond would at lest put an effort to smile and interact with his squad members. Guren said his squad was his family now. While Mika is willing to accept Yoichi and the others as family he wasn’t ready to give up his old one. It was his fault that his old family got killed and he is just not ready to forgive himself. And now that he knew Yuu was still alive Mika was even more determined to hang on to his old family.
The nightmares had gotten worst and it was taking a total on his mood. “Ne. I’m going to get some fresh air. I’ll be back in a bit.” Not wanting to dimer the mood, Mika excused himself with a forced smile and went to the roof. The blond stood there leaning over the roof a bit and looked over the fallen world.
Krul tilted her head once she heard that she was supposed to receive a letter. Well that explains.. “Unfortunately, I did not receive it. But I am glad that you arrived to my kingdom safely.” She continued to stare at the brunette, examining and deciding if this newcomer was a threat or not.
Each movement he made seemed to give off the vibe that he was trying to look as superior as she. Krul kept her watchful eyes on him. His lips parted and he began to speak.
As she heard the name ‘Hiiragi’, it rang a bell. I think I’ve heard about them.. ah. We were close to war awhile back. She listened further what Yoichi had to say.
Eh? Krul srunched her nose and glared angrily. She was not pleased to hear this at all. She stood with a firm stance. “Pardon me, but I don’t wish to seek conflict with the Hiiragi kingdom.” A vampire crossed their border? Who the f*ck is stupid to do that? She began to wonder if this ‘messenger’ was stating that his kingdom was on the verge of declaring war. “I’ll have you know that if war inevitably comes our way, there will be no mercy.”
She cleared her throat. Krul let her anger subside, for she was unsure. Keep up with the formalities, Krul. “Anyways, since you’re here, why not come in for some tea? I would like to discuss what happened. I would like some clarification.”
Ģuren didn’t like kids. He would stand by that fact, and it would never change for as long as he lived. He didn’t like kids, because the effort to groom them into adults was a long, arduous and painstaking process that left him with a headache, more often than not. He didn’t like kids, because they reminded him of his naivety as a child. And as he was making plans for the upcoming mission at Shinjuku, which was in a mere seven days from now, he couldn’t help but think of his very first mission eight years ago. It had been...sobering, that was for sure. Unpleasant, definitely, but necessary. Reality was a harsh pill to swallow.
ค soft series of knocks thudded against his door, which was proof that there were people with manners, after all. “Come in,” he called out, tucking the battle formations and map of Japan under a heavy book as he glanced up at the boy who had just entered. Raising a brow, Guren could almost imagine the reason why Saotome Yoichi had decided to bother him at this hour of the evening. Still, he was, at some point of time, some form of a teacher, and as a teacher, he should at least provide some degree of advice and assistance. “What is it? It’s late, you should be resting.”
