I got these (D’scover DVD+CD, D’scover playbutton, free poster from DVD+CD and free towel from playbutton) a few days ago and I’m very satisfied with the products! I’m just gonna write what I think on these products, and Daesung baby’s solo debut in Japan!
I think the material for the packaging of the discs is really nice, it's like matte... But really I'm actually quite disappointed with the editing skills of the booklet haha. It looks like a concept for the Saem, tbh. But the pictures are really nice, we have cute Daesung, sexy Daesung, pretty Daesung, everything!

The back design is actually a map, you can faintly see a map spread across the back of the cover!
Tada! See the map on the bottom left? That is what's on the back cover too. *^^* Here we have the booklet safely tucked away, and the two discs (DVD+CD)! However, the booklet slides out really easily..
And on the discs we have pretty butterfly designs on them!

Okay so now my thoughts on the songs and MVs! I really liked every song in this album, not that I'm biased, but they are either make me really happy, or sad. My personal favorites are:
3rd track: 歌うたいのバラッド (Singer's Ballad)
4th track: 全力少年 (Powerful Boy)
5th track: Hello
8th track: 逢いたくていま (Missing You Now)
Singer's Ballad talks about a boy who tries to reach out to the girl he love (and lost), with a song and the simple words "I love you". "There are words I was never able to say to you. It won’t take long so please listen… “I love you.” " His voice in this song carries a certain sadness to it. It's really good to listen to if you want something soothing and relaxing! Also, it has a M/V to it. The M/V shows a girl listening to something.. and Daesung appears wherever she appeared at, I think it's saying he misses the time they spent together, and is trying to reach out to her by singing this song, and hope she'll listen.
Powerful Boy has been one of my favorite Japanese songs before Daesung made a cover! I was thrilled when I found out he will be covering this song. I love both the original and this version. Somehow this song is similar to Wings, as it talks about getting back up after getting beaten to the ground. It's about not giving up, about not backing down! It's a really catchy song and fun to sing along! I like Daesung's happy and bright voice in this song, especially when he hits the high notes in the chorus.
Hello talks about finding a purpose in life after giving up before. "And before I knew it, I lost sight of my dream" "During those days, when I didn’t even know what day of the week it was", showing that life is dull and the singer has given up on his/her dreams, not knowing what is next, not having a purpose in life. But after they get back on their feet, "Hello, hello! My voice reaches you, for the entire world to hear. And a new story begins! Hello, hello! I want to feel it at all times, I’m forever singing hello, so I will never lose sight of my dream again!" I can imagine this song being important to Daesung, along with songs like Powerful Boy and Wings, as they are about getting back on your feet after something devastating happened. Indeed, Daesung had a rough time back in 2011, and he is smiling and happy now. Also, this is my favorite song from the album, it makes me feel motivated and happy, even though I can't understand what Daesung is singing, it sounds as if he wants me to hold on, to never give up.
Missing You Now is one of the saddest songs in this album, in my opinion. It talks about a boy who misses the girl he loves. He'll never have the chance to see her, or talk to her again. "There’s so much I want to tell you" "If I knew that we’d never see each other again, I would never have let go of your hand. If I had just cried and told you, “Stay with me”, would you still be here, smiling beside me?" Daesung's husky and soothing voice suits this song, a lot. He also put a lot of emotions into this song, which makes it really painful to listen to.
I personally thought that the Wings M/V could have been better. It's just taking snippets of BTS shooting, recording and slapping them into a video, and bam, a M/V! However, the cheerfulness he showcased during the recording is a plus for a cheerful song like Wings! And also, he looked really hot in the shooting for album cover. Not to mention they added snippets of Wings live performance from a concert (not sure which, Tokyo dome?)
I haven't watched the "Making of" in subbed yet.. It's basically him talking about each songs, the meaning, and why he chose them. Also, there was the recording of M/Vs, and BTS for photo shooting! You can watch the subbed video, here.
This is the poster that came with the DVD+CD! Surprisingly, it's of really good quality! Compared to the poster I got from ALT CD and DVD.. It's glossy, and quite thick, so it doesn't get folded easily! The back is matte, so it sticks better than normal posters! It's also easy to remove, it won't tear! Great, +1 +1!
Moving on to the next best thing! The playbutton! This is the front of the cover. The back of the cover is the same as the the DVD+CD, so I didn't take a picture. *^^*
Jang jang~ The playbutton itself, the USB charger, and the manual! Sadly, the manual is in Japanese so I had to google on how to use the playbutton.
As you can see it's really small! Easy to carry around, and it's pretty too! I'm bringing this around nowadays instead of my iPod, easier and more convenient.

It doesn't die fast, and it's relatively easy to charge (and it charges quick!) One of the most satisfying SG$80 spent, I really like it for its aesthetics and functions. +1 +1. *^^*
This is the towel that came with the playbutton. Size compared to the DVD+CD! I won't recommend to use it for face washing or showering, it's not really water absorbent.. Well, I don't know much about towels, and I don't know what to do with it so...

That's all I have for D'scover. I really recommend to buy if you really like Daesung! And yes, I would recommend the playbutton, but it's sold out.. Go go everyone! Grab your copy of D'scover, NOW! *^^*
