I’m Coming Home // Shadow & Fionna

Today Shadow decided he’d go back. Even if it were just for two or three days at most. It’s been a while since he’s been back home. He had missed his Mom an awful lot, and had even wondered what she has been up to all these months. She was probably wondering the same thing about him as well. It was a month before graduation after all. Although, Shadow was thinking of just doing college prep next year. More over, he had missed his own room too. He was used to living in his dorm by now but nothing beats the comfy state of his room at home. Packing his bag for home, he finished within a matter of minutes. There wasn’t really much to pack anyway. Remembering his promise to Fionna about her coming with him, he took out his phone and searched for the familiar number before stopping at Fionna’s name. He clicked call and heard the phone ring until Fionna finally picked up the phone. “Hey.” Shadow said, grinning a bit. “Are you busy today, McQueen? I was thinking today would be a good day to visit home. If you’re still up to coming with me.”
