Music Monday • Entry #2 • Editor's (@brightwoodentertainment) Pick: Memphis has birthed some amazing musicians and I believe as a whole, they are often overlooked for their contributions to Hip Hop. One of my favorite rappers of all time, @playaflym3 released "Da Game Owe Me" on November 16, 1999. The project had records on it such as "M3 II", "Ghetto Eyes", "Damn What Another Say", "N God We Trust" and more and was his 5th solo album at that point. ________________________________________________ Featured Song: Get Me Out. ________________________________________________ This is the album that introduced me to Playa Fly. I was a high school Freshman that year living in KY/TN and spent the rest of my high school years "catching up" by buying his previous albums whenever I would find them in the stores. I ended up running into him a few years ago at an event in Atlanta and we were able to chop it up for a bit. Moments like that are what make this business fulfilling. ________________________________________________ #playafly #dagameoweme #classic #musicmonday #420 #memphis #indianapolis #atlanta #legend #twenty4sevenmagazine (at Atlanta, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_gLd1DH5x_/?igshid=bim52qte65fa
