philippine eagle chick named Yucky running a lemonade stand that keeps singing "get my money up, get my Yucky up!". hes taught Mae how to sneak into the inner city so she can go to the really cool comic shop. hes saving up money to buy these fancy new boots that his two lovebird dads designed for him and want to give him for free. but hes insisting on buying them for himself. and Yucky has three older philippine eagle brothers that are buff as fuck. and one of them is a luchador.

Last Book: The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez! i havent finished it yet but oooooooh i am unwell about it. it plays with the written medium in such fascinating and tasty ways, dancing between perspectives, second person, first person, third person, each to indicate a different angle of the same story, or to elaborate upon the world present. a gathering of spirits and bodies through time, tethered by stories, called to witness a story told via dance. AND THATS JUST THE FRAMING DEVICE. if you enjoy in depth worldbuilding, repression, conflict with your expected roles, examinations of the brutality of war and strife and the marks it leaves on the world, gods, liars, storytellers, guilt, transformation, or autonomy and lack thereof... check this out. theres other elements of it that i think would be bait for my mutuals but its such huge spoilers that i cannot share

Last Series: for TV, Fionna & Cake! i finished s2 and oughhhhh. mhm. yeah. BUT for podcasts, since prev counted those and hes right, Alice Isn't Dead! i will finish a relisten before Don't Tell Alice comes out i stggg. i keep having to take breaks to steel myself. i just relistened to the ep w the billboards and hearing the narrator realize what that last billboard says and just quietly going "im pulling over." and cut to her crying and desperately trying to pull herself together enough to read it aloud and failing. and even tho ive listened to that ep several times it guts meeeee

Working on: a somewhat redraw of an old piece of Vincent!! except now its diptych and i think i may be murdered for it. instead of just his father's hands on his shoulders, theres now one of his father's hands on his shoulders when hes just barely an adult, maybe late teens. and one as he's older, the Vincent we know and love, with Maral's hands holding his jaw and cupping his face firmly. now with his updated design and detailed outfits (and a better grasp on anatomy lol)! ive just got the sketch out but its so cool seeing how much my art has grown
