Wyoming was never a fan of the hand he had been dealt with by Charon, to work with them or be killed by them, he felt the situation was somewhat degrading compared to the work he did before. Instead of being his own independent agent, he was now an assassin, assigned with infiltrating and sabotaging the people of Chorus’ efforts, which occasionally included using a sniper rifle to pick someone off.
The worst of it would be having to report to Felix, who both outranked him and annoyed him, but found himself having to watch his wit around the man, as while his expertise put him above the average grunt, it was made clear that Reginald was far from indispensable. Despite as such, Reginald decided to try to strike up a conversation with the man, as he had heard something quite interesting about the merc during his recently completed assignment.
“Tell me lad, did you and that Locus fellow actually take part of the Great War? I had heard from some of the inhabitants that you did, but I’m curious if that was another lie to boost credibility between you two.”
