One thing the prequels made way funnier is Luke's jedi training. Like when the originals first came out the dagobah sequence was all we had so we assumed jedi training was just Like That but then the prequels came out and it turns out yoda was doing the force equivalent of hazing the whole time

The Empire Strikes Back by Nicolas Bannister
In The Empire Strikes Back, Luke crash-lands on Dagobah and sinks his ship into the swamp. The hatch opens and instead of immediately doing something heroic he just stays there. He takes off his gloves, rubs his face, and pauses for a few seconds like he’s mentally checking in with himself before standing up and moving on.
I don’t know if that moment is meant to stand out or if my brain just latched onto it for no reason, but I love it. Nothing important happens. He’s not advancing the plot or learning a lesson. He just looks tired, annoyed, and very aware that he’s now stranded on a swamp planet.
It’s such a quiet, unnecessary beat, but it makes the whole scene feel more real. Sometimes a character stopping for a second to process the disaster they’re in is all I need to be fully on board 🤣
