The Bush Dai-Dai is a shapeshifting jumbie from Caribbean and Guyanese folklore. It will take the form of a beautiful young woman, and find a traveller or miner to seduce. Once she has slept with her victim, she will turn into an animal, typically a jaguar or a giant bat, and eat the unfortunate man.
The Bush Dai-Dai's natural appearance is unknown, but it is said to be squat and grotesquely ugly.
