CCS Week Day 3 Part 2: Family - Daidouji 

I didn’t make it in time here in the UK but I’m taking advantage of timezones further west and going to post this anyway (ehehehe). I just love these two and I couldn’t resist playing around to get this. This photo is far from perfect and I’m sure once I master photoshop this will make me cringe but present me is super proud and happy with the result so that’s all that matters ^.^ 

I know I keep saying this but the dynamic they have as mother-daughter is truly amazing. It isn’t shown much in the show but I like how Sonomi enables her daughter’s hobbies (I guess part of this is because they are/were similar to hers) but still keeps it at a healthy level because Tomoyo isn’t overtly spoiled (again this can be attributed to her personality too but there definitely is a base somewhere). They care for each other deeply which is hard to find in a single parent (we don’t know where the father/husband is) who is super busy. In fact Sonomi even tries to take time out for Tomoyo (and Sakura) and it’s just lovely to see even if it is just glimpses here and there.
