in the band is a brilliantly talented musician based out of new orleans named Sabine McCalla. i've been a fan of hers for years; once i saw her live, and she was absolutely MAGICAL, and afterwards i stopped at her merch table and she smiled at me and i almost blacked out because she's so pretty and ethereal in person oh my god. anyway, she has a 5-song EP available, with a new album to be released this year by the indie label Gar Hole Records. Here's my favorite song by her:
