So JJ, did you know that Robin was -not- playable during the E3 demo, we haven't seen his/her Final Smash, and Ike's Chrom colors are missing? Will our dope finally Smash?
Interesting thing on the Ike color set! Though I could assume they just kicked it out since now he has both his Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn skins, so that’s cutting the color variations in half and the Chrom palette was just one they booted out. The color palettes in the E3 demo may not even be final either since despite that Ridley was shown to have a Meta Ridley skin in his trailer (I thought it was Proteus Ridley at first), it wasn’t in the demo. So they may not all be final. Also, Marth had a Roy palette in SSB4, but to be fair Roy came as DLC and things like Marth’s color palettes were decided well before Sakurai decided he would dive deep into the DLC madness.
Robin I’m guessing just wasn’t ready in the demo for one reason or another. Or maybe they picked the E3 demo roster based on character popularity? I know Robin isn’t that popular in terms of competitive, though I doubt competitive is the only factor.
Still, Robin’s trailer nor any of their screenshots showed their Final Smash. So yeah, Chrom isn’t confirmed for their Final Smash in Ultimate just yet. That is a little suspicious. Do I think Chrom has gotten his chance though? Well, at most I think he would be an Echo Fighter of Ike (cue the Smash fandom whining “TOO MUCH FIRE EMBLEM!!!!!!11″), but other than that? I’m gonna lean towards no, our dork is probably going to stay as Robin’s Final Smash. Buuuuuuut it’s not entirely out of the question.
