Was crawling through Reddit, and when I was looking though the comments on a post I came across a really shitty ai gen image, just didn’t look anything like what it should have if they had either taken a photo or drawn it by hand.
So I commented on it, maybe a bit mean, but my tolerance for Ai gen images is pretty low now, got a sarcastic comment back and then replied to said sarcasm with a criticisms about the image and how I would have respected them more if they had just done a shitty drawing.
Apparently that was to much so they commented about how they weren’t interested in my respect, and how my responses were childish (they were, I just expected thicker skin or better rebuttals), before they than immediately deleted all of their comments from the thread before I could properly read their t last comment.
Just found it funny how I gave them the least amount of pushback to them doing a Ai image, and they immediately retreated, which, respect, leave before you start to effect your happiness and what not, don’t get into pointless arguments with internet strangers, but come on! I wanted a witty back and forth banter! I wanted to discuss the intricacies of why LLMs are both good and bad! Why does everyone else get to have fun internet arguments?
