Sleek lines of the new Routemaster seem in harmony with the stunning Daily Express building on Fleet Street. Almost 80 years old and still elegant and beautiful like in 1932.

The City workers framed by exquisite Daily Express building. One wonders how much of contemporary architecture will look this good in 80 years time! (at Fleet Street) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpUwuS_lVnu/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=157qv679n94ka
Many preserved buildings miss the original signs and way-finding systems (from obvious reasons). In my illustrations I'm always trying to portrait the building in the earliest state, as in this example of stunning Art Deco lettering on Daily Express building. btw: You can get this as a print in my shop 😉
