“ my own pearl... ”     hehe. no, wait, even BETTER.     “ a diamond’s pearl. ”     she     ( is borrowing )     has her own pearl     ( temporarily ),     and she’s just a peridot! who would have ever thought she, peridot, would be walking around with blue diamond’s pearl? no one, that’s who!     “ hold this. ”     some sort of circular device is shoved into pearl’s hands as peridot turns away from her.     “ it is very important; i expect you to treat it as such. ”

     “HELLO!” You stood next to the pale blue pearl, tilting your head to admire the cut of her gem. The hair that fell over her eyes gave her a gentle look; in fact, her whole appearance was rather soft, a stark contrast to the sleekness of your diamonds court. “You must be the radiant Blue Diamonds pearl. I can tell. The cut of your gem is just as high quality as mine!” / @daintblue

this was his second time on homeworld... and strangely enough, his second time escaping. had the situation been less dire, steven would have laughed at the irony of the situation. he’d been so sure that he could save everyone by playing the part of pink diamond.. but he should have known. the real pink diamond couldn’t succeed.. so why would he? he grimaced at the thought, and came skidding to a halt at the sight of a dainty figure up ahead.

“   pearl...   ”   steven’s fingers curled into small fists, and he tried to hide his panic. if blue’s pearl knew he and connie had gotten out of the cell, surely she’d tell blue diamond.. they needed more time, he needed to find his friends before the diamonds could try to stop him. 

“   please.. help me. do.. do you know where my friends are?   ”

       steven had been trying to clean up some of the pieces of the diamond’s ship whilst he’d gotten the chance, using the time to think, trying to come up with a way to explain everything to the diamonds. a slight movement in the wreckage of the blue ship, however, soon caught his attention, and he turned, his eyes widening when he spotted blue pearl, half trapped beneath some rubble

       “   ah! wait! here --- let me help you!   ”   steven quickly rushed over towards the debris, his eyes wide. of course the pearls were here --- when did they ever leave their diamonds side? he gripped onto the piece of the ship trapping blue pearl, and lifted it up effortlessly, quickly tossing it to one side.   “   are.. are you okay?   ”

A sigh escapes the matriarch, accompanying her half lidded gaze. Magenta hues peer down at the visitor, knowing exactly who she was. Blue's pearl wouldn't come without being sent, this meant Blue wanted to see her or to speak. Would Pink go so easily? Of course not. She didn't want to be lectured again about completing her colony. She knew that was the whole reason behind sending for her. An eye roll is evident as the pearl begins speaking. The diamond wastes no time cutting her off, ❛ Tell her I'm not coming. If she asks why, tell her "because I don't want to."  ❜
