This was a familiar situation, one that occurred every now and then. The matriarch had grown bored of going over plans for her colony. None of it was as fun as she had thought it was. She wasn’t commanding drop ships or speaking to fleet leaders. She was just sitting there, waiting for gems to form and structures to be completed. How extremely dull! ❛ Pearl, I’m bored. ❜ The other gem would come up with something, right?

a familiar setting left the pink pearl standing at the side of her diamond loyally, hands clasped before her, cerulean hues stationed at the ground. as the other spoke, those optics glanced to her radiance, head tilting sightly upward. she’s bored, again. there was never anything new to do, but it was her job to make pink diamond happy. so pearl turned towards the other with a soft smile. “ perhaps we could explore the surface of this moon ? ”
