come board my new ship! I call it RyeRyu or DaiRyu. 21 year old Feenie (phoenix wright), heartbroken from Dahlia, runs over Moroboshi Dai (aka Akai Shuichi) w his bike. Akai just needed a quick cover story for hanging out around law offices for a mission (and bc he's dumb he does this by dating a harmless himbo law student)

They eventually have an amicable breakup (jk Phoenix knew Akai was using him all along and that he's breaking up with him so he can get together with Akemi for the Black Org Promotion but he preferred the the fake love to no love. He is crying sobbing throwing up hugging his legs begging him I DONT CARE IF YOURE EVIL PLEASE DONT LEAVE MEEEE WAAAAAAAAH while Akai feels REALLY bad like the messy disaster he is

And then the next time they meet is in court and its post akemi death so akai has cut his hair and changed his general aura to be way creepier so phoenix doesn't recognise him

And then everything is the same except after Phoenix is disbarred they meet at the Borscht bowl and have beanie buddies Friendship ft Poker and drinking bc they've both hit rock bottom

and then we get to @potahun 's crossover movie

conan brings phoenix to agasa's place to pour over the files in safety. subaru okiya / akai shuuichi is there in a pink apron cooking curry together they pour over the case from 11 years ago and its connection to today's terrorism while at agasa's house, the kids, phoenix and akai debate about ladders and stepladders

phoenix has the strange feeling that the recognises Subaru. But that can't be! He's never met subaru before....

Or has he?

Fried rice and miso ramen combo at dairyu in Kalihi. So apparently my friend is working there this summer, but I had no idea. Unfortunately she wasn't there to give me free food...oh well. Anyway, the fried rice was delicious, as was the ramen (the broth was flavorful, though the noodles were nothing special), but in the combo set the ramen portion is quite small. They also offered a wide selection of other food on their menu, and the curry and tempura my friends ordered also looked great for a reasonable price. On a side note, being in Kalihi for the first time in months made me think about my family origins again. He's proud of it, but apparently my uncle had the lamest nickname in the whole 442nd infantry regiment--he was called, "Biggy" because he was big...and he was from Kalihi.
