Okay. Okay. She could handle people walking around in weird costumes, ones that made them look in human. She could also handle people in weird costumes that just made them look like they should be going through culture shock. Hell, she could probably handle people walking around like they were having culture shock if she had to.

But that? What was that?! An anime mascot of some kind, definitely, but why was it moving? How was it moving?

It was rude to stare, Kurisu knew that much. Even if that... thing almost certainly wasn’t alive, it was rude to stare at it with such an expression... But she couldn’t help but to try and figure out how the hell it functioned.

Needless to say, when Kasumi had made the decision to come to Kerria Academy, she hadn't thought she'd be seeing any familiar names.

She'd been scanning through the student list (not for her classes, but more for curiosity's sake, really) when she spotted something unexpected- Daisuke Niwa. She'd never met the boy, of course, but the name was familiar- the Niwa family was Japan's greatest family of art thieves, and their name had a tendency to get thrown around a lot.

So it was rather natural that when she found out that she was a teacher at the school of the family's current heir, that she just had to investigate. She'd given her class their assignment before excusing herself and making her way down to the art room (with any luck, she wouldn't return to a burned down classroom. students: they can't be trusted). After remembering that the Niwas carried the trait of having vibrant red hair, she found her target quickly.

" 'Scuse me- Daisuki Niwa, right?" she tapped him lightly on the shoulder before speaking up. She made sure to start with asking his name, too, just to make sure she had the right redhead.
