okay i’m going to do adoption for all the kids bc blood ≠ family
i know that eddie & buck would LOVE these kids, blood or not, so yeah
also not to mention chris is ecstatic abt having siblings!!!
first up we have the twins; jordan & jayden (age 4)
they both have blue green eyes
their skin is golden & they have the cutest button noses
jordan has golden brown hair
while jayden has dirty blonde hair
lowkey that’s the only way buck & eddie can tell them apart for the first few days
at first they don’t talk much to buck & eddie, only really trusting chris which warmed the husbands’ hearts
“chrissy, can we play superheroes with you?”
“yeah! i have so many capes we can pick from!!”
eventually they open up, definitely taking a liking to buck more at first
probably bc he’s the cool dad
“daddy is so strict! papa is so much cooler!!”, jordan giggles.
all three boys always manage to convince buck to let them sleep with him & eddie
“papa pleaseee”, jayden pleads (buck gives in because how can he resist those beautiful eyes .. now he knows how eddie felt all these years when he pouted)
they go to another adoption fair
originally they were planning on getting a baby but then a teenage girl catches their eye (age 13)

they find her crying about the former & their hearts absolutely break
“baby we love you, you’re apart of this family”, buck reassures her, rubbing comforting circles into their daughter’s back
“plus, you’re our only girl. we’ve always wanted a princess”, eddie coos, planting soft kisses on her forehead
that day they have daddy daughter night & do face masks, bake cookies, watch movies, talk about boys, etc.
they get their first “i love you daddy/papa”
they’re giddy as hellllll, literally giggling as she snuggles into them drifting off to sleep (don’t judge, this is the first time she said those 3 little words)
all the kids in pre-k think jordan & jay are so cool bc they have TWO firefighter dads
“wait so you have a whole fire family?!?! plus two big brothers & a sister?”
the twins beam, proud to be apart of such a loving home & have more family than they can count
the boys in daisy’s class are intimidated lmao
“i wanna ask you out but your dads are scary..”
“oh please, they’re big teddybears”.

eddie and buck finally have the weekend off so they decide to pack up the kids and go to pacific park at santa monica pier
which they were hesitant about, because you know, the tsunami, but chris assured his dad’s he was alright with it
it’d been years since the whole incident, but trauma doesn’t just go away
buck and eddie also had a talk
“ev, are you sure you’re up for this?”
“i’m positive sweetheart. definitely less stressed because you’ll be there.”
they place a cooler in the car, filled with drinks and deli sandwiches. they also have a duffle bag with a few extra shirts in case of a spill
they arrive at the amusement park & it’s pure chaos from the kids
everyone is talking over each other, saying which rides they had to go on
they decided to go from oldest to youngest let each kid pick where they wanted to go
“imagine not being the oldest,” zack teased. “i really wanna go on the west coaster”
daisy insisted on going on the pacific wheel. “i have to take pictures for my instagram & vsco!”
chris went with shark frenzy. a favorite from when him and buck had come here together
the twins both agreed on inkie’s wave jumper
“anything you want to go on my love?” eddie whispered to his husband
“could we maybe go on the sea dragon?”

after our favorite family was satisfied with the amount of rides they went on and games they played they found a table away from the busyness of the park and dug into their food
“i can’t wait to come back here,” jordan giggled
buck & eddie silently agreed, beyond happy they were making more memories day by day as a family

now, at first, they go through the whole “we don’t want to be matching papa” stage, but as halloween creeps up, they ultimately decide they want indeed do want to match
“daddy! can we be mike & sully from monsters inc?”
eddie’s heart swelled as he imagined jordan & jay in cute monster costumes, “i think we can make that work kiddies”
next up we have our national treasure, chris diaz! he changes his mind every few days about what he’s going to be.
“i’m gonna be a superman”, “i’ll be frankenstein!”, “an astronaut!”
finally he settles on being woody from toy story; buck and eddie kind of saw that one coming. that’s the only film he’s wanted to watch on family movie night recently
they take tons of pictures of chris, eyes filling with tears. he’s growing up so fast. soon he’ll be out with his friends instead of going trick or treating with his dads.
but they relish in the moment; enjoying what’s left of this particular stage
daisy wanted to do something a little more, “grown up”, but i get it. it was her freshman year of high school, she had her eye on a certain someone & she wanted to look good
“um sweetie?” eddie winced, “i’m not sure if a disney princess gone bad is the way to go..”
“but daddy!!” eddie was about to give in, but buck took charge. “daisy, no. it’s not appropriate for you to wear what looks like a washcloth to a halloween dance. find something else please sweetheart.”
she’s not happy, but she gets it. daisy settles on a bumblebee, cause yano, bees land on flowers. daisy is a flower. yeah.
“princess, you look adorable,” eddie and buck coo in unison
lastly, we have zack. he doesn’t really want to go to the high school dance, but his friends convince him
also his crush, april, is going to be there
“pa, i don’t know what i want to be?” “how about a firefighter?” “ha ha, very funny.”
he decides on a baseball player; not the most creative, but hey, he didn’t even plan on going in the first place. plus, he knows what he’s doing. the pants and the shirt are a size too small, but it’s worth it because he gets his first kiss that night

wow you guys really love the family stuff, it’s okay though, because same. i’ll provide a link to a house as well. but!! you guys are always welcome to imagine a dream house for them. feel free to comment or reblog with hashtags anything else you’d think they might have.
i think they have a ranch house??? but it’s spacious, so don’t worry; the kids literally have so much room to be kids
honestly, they choose a ranch house for chris
it still has steps of course but not many
they have a huge open concept kitchen
they eat dinner together every single night, courtesy of papa buck’s cooking
sometimes zack & daisy excuse themselves early because of schoolwork
the diaz family hosts a majority of the parties & holiday dinners as well
their little dining room is so cute, though it’s usually covered with books, pens & permission slips
their living room is a favorite amongst everyone in the house
the kids help buck garden in a section of their backyard, they have herbs, tomatoes, etc.
the twins LOVE picking basil and parsley for papa buck to use for dinner
“papa! papa, look! me and jordan got you some basil for the pasta.”
their backyard is really big btw (even with the little garden there’s still room for other things)
with enough begging from the kiddos, they give into having a pool installed
so yeah, the diaz household is usually packed with family or friends of the kids
buck and eddie don’t mind though, this is what they’ve dreamed of
speaking of buck and eddie, their room is sectioned off from the kids even though they’re all on one floor
y’all know why.. “you have to be quiet, baby. the kids are finally sleep.”
“uh i can’t really help it, not when you’re, oh wow, doing that with your mouth eds.”
they jump each other’s bones when they get the chance, let’s leave it at that
while we’re on the topic of rooms, let’s get into kiddies’
the twins have a car themed room, each of their beds being a different model of a vehicle
the walls are adorned with cartoon posters like ben10, teen titans, etc.
chris’ room is superhero themed; he’s had the nickname superman since he could remember & he just loves the idea of being someone’s saving grace
he has tons of different blanket sets with different emblems; superman (ofc), batman, captain america, etc.
he also has sooo many lego sets that he can spend hours assembling, deconstructing & reassembling. 
daisy’s room is pink, to say the least, but it’s not overbearing. her walls are a soft grey, but all decor is baby pink & white.
she doesn’t have posters, but she does have a photo wall that is growing as the days go on. she also has more stuffed animals than she can count that rest on her bed.
zack’s room is definitely the most mature out of all his siblings
his walls are a darker grey shade. he mainly has framed posters for a neater look as well as a shelving unit for all his skateboards.
they have a finished basement where they aim to have family movie nights twice a month
the lower level is decked out with beanbag chairs, throw pillows and a super comfy sectional to fit everyone
daisy always calls the seat next to eddie, while chris always calls the space in between his two dads
it’s like pulling teeth trying to get zack to come down for movie night, but he’s ALWAYS asking to watch one more
the twins get bored easily, they end up playing with their trucks halfway through the viewing

i’m sorry this took so long, it’s so much work finding face claims to match kids i didn’t plan on falling in love with. plus, i had to do the tarlos ocs because this wouldn’t make sense otherwise. thanks for the patience

i think it’d depend on what her boyfriend was like. if he was a good boy, played a sport, decent grades; she might open up him to her dads. they’d probably be a little sad their babygirl had her first boyfriend, but not too worried.
now, if he was more of a “bad boy”, similar to buck 1.0, they’d have a lot more to say. they’re the type of parents that let their kids do what makes them happy within reason, but they’d make it known that her boyfriend isn’t their favorite person. though, i think they would leave it at that and wait for the relationship to run its course.
