i wish to be involved in the MERCY fandom a bit more (I am in need of attention (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)) so I wanted to offer the dynamics(in and out of bed, but mostly in bed wink wink) I have for dustydoily (Wayne and Paxton), dustydancer (Wayne and Beau), and glassflower (Daisy and Lila)*
*Names are subject to change if people have different ideas!
Dustydoily - Dom Bottom Paxton and Service Top Wayne, and I will not be leaving this hill until my bones sink into the soil. Wayne tries to be gentle with Cross but gets irritated at every small jab he makes, kisses him so he shuts up, gets his hair tugged when Paxton wishes to guide him somewhere else. I feel like Cross would have to educate Wayne on lubricant/taking it slow (I imagine that is a type of intimacy he would need to work through), and they would definitely have a few tries where Paxton ends up in an uncomfortable position and doesn't pursue further attempts, leaving Wayne high and dry. They both have such confidence in their opposing skills, and neither are willing to get on each other's level. It's a pride thing. But oh man, when they get it down. That's when the magic happens.
Dustydancer - Dom Switch Samuel and Sub Switch Wayne. Beau gives me a 'knows what he wants at all times' kind of guy. The type of man who could deliver a whole paragraph in a single glance. And I think that's how he communicated with Wayne in bed. Unfortunately Wayne is not very intuitive, so Samuel has to guide him a lot. He's gentle but firm, knowing what he wants and makes sure Wayne can accomplish it. But he also cares about Wayne's need and is a consent KING. Wayne melts at any advance Beau makes, and their dynamic is established very quickly, especially because of the authority that comes with Beauford's age. Wayne loves himself an older man lol (╹∀◠)
Glassflower - Switch Lila and Switch Daisy. Very experimental, especially with Daisy's curiosity and desire to know the ins and outs of things. I don't think they feel bound by societal expectations, and neither of them are there to take control or take out frustration. They both love each other and want to have this kind of intimacy, both as a comfort and as an indulgence. Lila tends to be more dominant, but Daisy flirts first, hoping for that outcome. I don't think Lila cares too much about the sex stuff (I imagine her on the ace spectrum, probably demi) more about the aftercare and the simple affection that comes with that. Hand holding, cuddling, nuzzling into the collarbone, soft humming as they spoon. They seek safety from the scary stuff, and that makes me feel fuzzy inside.
I am in a silly goofy mood these days. AND I think I got my bestie to listen to this podcast so that will be very exciting !!
