Mom just sent me this pic, she found the Popple she made me when I was little. 🥹
(She also sewed the dress underneath.)
Was I always so hard on my things?? Or should I blame the dog for the missing tail 🤔

Daisy Kingdom Doll! Did anyone else have these? 90′s kids might remember! I had just about every model, I’m pretty sure (I still have most of them). According to the tag on this, they are not a toy and intended for craft use only.
In case you didn’t know: the Daisy Kingdom was actually mainly a fabric company / clothing pattern company. I had a ton of Daisy Kingdom dress (made by my grandmother) and these dolls were more or less meant to be cute mannequins to my knowledge. Of course, I was always incredibly careful of my toys so other than a few scuffs-- probably from being packed and moved around over the years-- my Daisy Kingdom dolls are in perfect condition!
Also, this doll was my favorite because she had brown hair and the other two had blonde. Child logic at it’s finest.
I sewed up this dress and vest and crocheted this little bow tie, modeled by Erlea! This outfit is actually a vintage craft panel from Daisy Kingdom that I thrifted a while back, so I just had to cut it out and follow the instructions. I'm bad at sewing, so don't look too closely because the construction is probably awful! The second photo shows the dress without the vest, and with the skirt spread out so that you can see the pattern a bit better- there's little naked angels/cupids holding ribbons, on a background of stars, above a starry lattice pattern.
Honestly I'm a little scared this navy printed fabric is going to stain, but I've washed the heck out of it and there didn't seem to be any excess runny dye...😬 But I couldn't resist, this dress is so cute!
