As promised, the next day the two friends met at Daisy’s house, she had preferred that they see each other in the tranquility of her house, given the despair of Zoe. The frequent quarrels with her Japanese boyfriend, Satoshi, were too heavy to bear and this time it really must have been a bad argument.
Daisy: "What happened Zoe? What’s been going on with you lately? All you do is argue and say bad things to each other..."
Zoe, visibly angry, replied: "I don’t even know anymore! Today we are good and tomorrow we always find a starting point to fight, if it continues like this.... It’s better to break up." the words muffled by tears.
Daisy: "No, come on! Don’t make such drastic decisions! You both have very strong characters and the clash is the order of the day but there will also be a common ground on which to confront you without giving in excruciation!"
...and smiling she added, "Come inside... let’s drink on a nice coffee, with a full belly you better deal with anything!"
Zoe’s face drew a smile. Daisy was the person who most of all knew how to understand and listen to her, always gave her good advice and once again proved decisive.
In front of a good coffee and warm croissants Daisy urged her friend to send a message to the boy and try to convince him to join her to try to make peace.
The answer did not wait and about half an hour later Satoshi was with them. Although he was very angry, he tried very hard to stay calm and face Zoe civilly.
Daisy embraced Zoe and greeted Satoshi from the patio and let the two settle.
It seemed that everything was going well then and a kiss on Satoshi’s cheek made Zoe smile as she looked at them from the window door of the house.
It was not yet so late, neither for them, nor for her that had some backlog and had to update his blog on which he had been missing for a few days. Her followers were waiting for her usual chatter.
