Are both U-Jin and Dak-Ho being threatened with Eunsung?

Nope! They are actually cult members serving as Eunsung's main bodyguards. They keep him in check, so that he cannot go off on his own. U-Jin and Dak-Ho are hired by the head of the cult, Ha-Neul - along with many others. At the moment, I have not fully mapped out the hierarchy but the two are slightly higher than the average cult member.

Their role in Coralia (the name of the idol group), is to ensure that the lyrics, the chereography and the tune propagandizes the cult's beliefs of the goddess, Soregujitsah  (SO-RAY-GOO-JEET-SAH) - which is in fact, Eunsung's mom :'(.

Also - U-Jin and Dak-Ho come from two different eras within the cult: The Segunari era, and the Ha-Neul era. These eras are named based on who controlled the cult at the time.

So for U-Jin, he came at a time where the cult's practices were much tamer compared to dated eras such as the Yeolee era. This is because this was Eunsung's era!

Now you may be (rightfully) confused, but Segunari is Eunsung’s true, god-given name from his mother. Since it's considered very sacred in the cult, people just call him his earth name: Eunsung.

Anyhow, this era was where the cult became more of a social group, making the cult more welcoming to new members. However, when Eunsung started to rise to fame, the cult became a little possessive of him. It makes sense, considering that Eunsung was a walking treasure of gold. Knowing this, it made the cult prideful and ostentatious, which intrigued investors and sponsors worldwide.

But due to Eunsung being lenient and naive, he brought a wave of corruption into the cult. One of these corrupt officials had twins named U-Jin and U-Min. At the time, their job was to market Eunsung, and network with other clients; one of these clients was Ha-Neul. Hence, they decided to take down Eunsung in exchange for more money and profit.

In terms of Eunsung's relationship with U-Jin...well. U-Jin treats him a lot more harshly, and is unfortunately a major gaslighter when he's ready. I believe these actions stem from him being envious of Eunsung. Meanwhile to the fans, U-Jin is seen as Eunsung's #1 supportive best friend.

As for Dak-Ho, he is a peaceful, comforting aura for Eunsung. He's more of a listener than a talker, and will step in for Eunsung when U-Jin goes too far with his antics. In terms of when he came into Eunsung's life, Dak-Ho was one of the key members that took power away from him. He was an essential part of Ha-Neul's group, and his role at the time was to act as a fighter and executioner to those who opposed Ha-Neul's rule. But nowadays, Ha-Neul is super chill and just enjoys the simple things in life.

Cynthia entered D.J.'s basement and shut the door behind her. Scanning the room, she found him working as his work table, drilling something as he stood atop a stool. She smiled and approached him as she slipped her cell phone into jacket pocket.

“Hey D.J.,” she asked. D.J., who stopped drilling.

“What is it this time?” he asked with slight annoyance.

“I was wondering if you could build something for me,” she asked while looking off, still smiling.

“You must have a lot of money to blow. How many times have you had me build something this month?” Cynthia stared at D.J., a bit confused. D.J. exhaled as he dropped his drill. “What do you want this time?”

“A time machine!” Cynthia answered. She waited for D.J. to answer as he sighed heavily.

“Cynthia. How many times do I have to tell you that I am not Dexter,” he stated as he turned around and glared at Cynthia, whose face had turned blank. “I can't build crap like that! Why are even asking me this anyway?”

“Alex dropped a cup of coffee on a register in his Cafe and I was thinking that you could build something to make it not happen,” she explained.

“Well what happened happened. That's that,” he told her as he looked down at his desk again. “Next time you ask me for something, make sure it isn't science fiction.”

“But what about the crystal cannon we found in the forest?”

“That's doesn't count. I just finished it.”

“Oh... What did you do with it after we used it on those monsters?”

“I stuck it somewhere no one will find it.” D.J. grabbed a dirty rag on the desk and cleaned his hands. “At least from someone like you,” he mumbled.

“What?”

“Oh nothing, just had something in my throat.”
