I’ve been in the Appalachians for 2 days and I now understand how unsettling the environment of Wickhills is. I just want my Rockies back.

oh absolutely, these mountains... like, ive lived here my whole life so im used to it but sometimes it just really hits me that the stone and soil under these forests, this mountain range, it is absolutely incomprehensibly ancient, theyve opened caves in the appalchians that havent seen the light of day since before the dinosaurs, that predate trees...

the scottish highlands used to be part of the same mountain range as the appalachians. thats how old they are - separated from their brothers by hundreds of millions of years of continental drift. shit is fucking freaky

Back in high school, I told all my friends about A Lesson in Practicality, and one read the whole thing without telling me because she had a crush on me. She didn’t tell me for 3 years, where she then told me the day we got together. We’ve been together for almost 4 years now. <3 Let’s just say we are both big fans.

Quite honestly speechless. But you did all the work I was just there. It would have been something else I'm sure but honored it was ALiP. <3
