As a member of the royal family, cousins to the prince himself, Dale was someone that was often admired by many in the hopes to be married into one of the more prestigious families among the elven kingdom. That was why he wasn’t surprised to be asked for an audience, and he reached the grand room of the castle to greet the male that had come to see him. "You wished to speak to me?”

So this was it...Dale's first date- ever.

Just the idea was giving him goosebumps. He's going on a date with an actual person. A real, living person. An attractive one too.

The nervousness starts building up within the duck as he waits for Elliot to arrive. What if he screws up? Was Elliot just doing this out of pity? What if this date did wind up going somewhere? He has no experience in relationships. All of his knowledge of romance came from pop culture and watching his brothers in their pursuits of love (some more successful than others).

Having a seat on the bench outside the restaurant they'd agreed to meet at and taking in the absolutely gorgeous holiday scenery, Dale begins to sing in order to distract himself from the troubling things that were beginning to tie knots in his stomach.

"Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? In the lane, snow is glistening. A beautiful sight we're having tonight! Walking in a winter wonderland~"

It didn't even occur to Dale that Elliot could be arriving at any moment as he gets completely lost in the song.

Sitting in a back corner of a bar, the incubus let his hazel eyes scan the crowd to decide who his next victim would be before his eyes came across a man that was utterly too delectable. With a lick of his lips, the incubus pushed himself off against the wall and sauntered towards him, hips moving from left to right in a tantalizing way before he approached the man. “Hi... can I buy you a drink?” Dale asked, letting a small amount of pheromones secrete from him in the hopes to affect the other male. “I’m Dale.”

This was it.

Dale was actually going to do it.

Anxiety floods his entire body, but it was too late to back out now. This was going to happen. It had to happen.

"I-I'm...I...I am romantically attracted to men."

It's out there now. Dale braces himself for the scolding he's expecting to receive, curling in on himself. His breathing quickens and hot tears begin to roll down his face. If he wasn't paralyzed by his emotions, he'd apologize to Daffy right now- but nothing else is said as the younger duck begins to fall apart.
