I wanna imagine that if Dev gets sick, Dale cares just enough to stay home, but he still runs his business and works.

DALETOBER days 1 thru 4!

Honestly it's so fun to draw such a ONE dimensional character like Dale right now. I wanna see how I can sneak little Dev in these prompts. Hahahaha!

Comment on prompt #3: The Wellsington Hotelsington is one of my fav episodes of FOPANW, and after watching the whole series through and coming back to that episode, did anyone else feel super SUPER bad for Dev that literally no one came to his sleepover? I'm sure he was planning it for days 'cause he just wants to be admired at school (for being rich and all, but clearly even his class don't care for it, as he's a bigger jerk than he he is rich). No shade on Hazel for one-upping his sleepover (tbh I'd rather stay at a luxury hotel over a mansion any day) but also she had NO idea at all about Dev's isolating home life. And also in a hilarious way, Hazel's anxiety of being liked at school actually gets her to both befriend the most popular person in school, and BECOMES one of the most popular kids in school! All while she's too self-concious and anxious to even see that she's become that! Though I'm sure Dev sees it pretty clearly, and maybe even more exaggerated in his mind. At the end of the day, Hazel and Dev are just looking for their place and acceptance in the world, but their internal struggles doesn't allow them to see the good in themselves, such that Hazel must unnecessary act as the "mature" person & overly compensating emotional accommodation for her loved ones and friends; while Dev has to mask and build walls with brute arrogance around his sensitive little heart. (;-; ) <3
