Once Merril's lips came to press against her mouth and further pressure was thereafter applied nervously, Hawke lifted her own hands to settle them delicately over top of Merril's. The corners of her lips curled up into a pleasant smile, and her head tilted easily, lips parting and working in time with the mage's movements to show her that it wasn't hard, and that she had no reason to be nervous.
"It's okay," she eventually breathed against Merrill's mouth, eyes once closed now opening in the slightest. "Just relax."
Bliss by Blaqk Audio makes me think of you and Sebastian
(MERRILL.)
I ship you with Sebastian because Sex
Hawke gave the other a bemused look. Well he definitely wasn't expecting that, not from Merrill at least. He nodded with a chuckle nonetheless ".. Fair enough."
14, 28, 67
14. Do you have a crush on anyone? "I do." She stated vaguely. She said nothing less, and nothing more.
28. Have you ever been cheated on? "Yes." She didn't wish to recall the details, so she did not proceed to explain any further. It did, however, play upon her current insecurities both at home and in terms of any kind of relationship. As tempting as they were, she didn't want to relive something similar again.
67. What is your idea of the perfect date? "If I told you remaining home and enjoying the company of one another, would you accept it as an answer? It's most comfortable there, and behind closed doors, there isn't a need to keep up with appearances. An evening at home would be ideal."
14, 57, 83
14. Do you have a crush on anyone?
No, I prefer flinging fireballs at my enemies to crushing them. I am not very heavy, in case you've not noticed.
((I have one of Crush's evolved forms...))
57. Things you want to say to an ex
Had I such a thing, I do not believe I would wish to speak to her.
(( "No, dating you did not 'mean I was straight,' you assknuckle. ))
83. Who was your first kiss with?
I do not wish to answer... oh, very well. It was Hawke, a very long time ago, in Lothering.
(( Technically it was with one of my best and oldest friends when we were about 10, because we were wondering what all the fuss was about! But I suppose the real answer is with the boy I dated at the end of high school. I got started kind of late...))
Deceive (for Merrill)
The taproom was its usual crowded self, full of gamblers and pirates and other sorts who did not bathe but perhaps twice a year, but it was a chilly autumn night and there was a large fire crackling, and the mulled wine was... really not half-bad.
It was still not at all the sort of place Morrigan voluntarily frequented, but after days of interacting with several of the Champion's coterie, they seemed to have adopted her, and well - here she was. She had not counted on the conversation as the group grew tipsier, however.
"Okay, Anders - let's have it," Hawke was saying with a roguish smirk. "One of the first things I ever heard Isabela say to you was regarding 'that electricity trick;' you can't have been this dour back in your Circle days."
Anders pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head, but he was starting to smile. "It seems another life, really."
"Right!" Isabela prodded. "The kind where you actually had fun! Out with it!"
"Fine, fine, you flock of harpies - I was fifteen. Happy?"
"Yes!" the others chorused, except for Fenris. Then Merrill looked to Morrigan with an impish glint in her eye.
Blast and damnation.
"Morrigan, you've been so quiet and you really should have some fun with the rest of us... Even Fenris has had a go... He didn't look to happy about it, but then Fenris never really looks happy except when he's - ouch!"
Apparently someone had kicked her under the table, which opportunity Morrigan seized to break in. "That is... quite alright, I do not - "
But Merrill was on her second cup of wine and having none of the witch's protestations. "Have you ever been in love? I mean, I know you grew up in the Wilds, but you've been all over the world since then and surely you've met lots of interesting people..."
Morrigan's glare was lost on the entire table - except perhaps Fenris, but it wasn't as if that mattered - and they all looked toward her with varying degrees of grinning expectancy. "I... no. I do not have the time for such foolishness, nor would I care to if I did."
Merrill looked almost comically forlorn. "Oh, Morrigan, that's so sad - I'm sure someday that'll change, it always seems to."
Morrigan said nothing, only fingering the sharply pointed edges of a slightly-tarnished silver amulet, safely under the table and out of sight.
Whortleberry
Whortleberry: What would it take for you to turn your back on those you hold closest?
"For them to do the same." Hawke shrugged. "There isn't much, really. The people I care about are more important to me than anything else." Titles and material things meant little if you had no one to share them with after all. "Are you worried Merrill? I really don't think you could do anything that would cause me to turn my back on you." He sent a gentle at the other.
