With the recent success of Daloy Dance Company (Daloy DC)‘s Artistic Director Ea Torrado, the Daloy DC will have a fundraising show on November 19-20 entitled, Mga Sayaw ng Paghilom at PETA Studios A and B at 8pm.
Daloy DC will perform their recent works, Pieces of Me (first performed at Pineapple Lab Gallery) and Unearthing (first shown at Karnabal Festival 2015 and on its 2nd phase).
The proceeds of the show will help send their dancers to Thailand on November 23-30 to perform Dysmorphilia for Low Fat Art Festival in Bangkok (a festival of international contemporary performance artists and companies), the proceeds will also help to do a full mounting of Unearthing in 2016, Daloy DC has been working on for months now. Healing through touch, healing through movement, and healing through community.
Come and share your energy in our shows, because Daloy DC is all for sharing research, discoveries, their dancing. Lights will be designed by veteran artist, Katsch Catoy, live music will be played by the riveting percussionist Frances Escape (for Unearthing) and the powerful Pinoy band , Dayaw for Pieces of Me. Costumes are by John Carlo Pagunaling, their amazing designer from Canton and Himalaya.
Tickets are at Php 1500 and comes with a free Contact Improv Class (Sat 12-130pm at Erehwon Arts Center). For Senior Citizens and Students, they have 60% discount throughout the year! Only 70 seats are available per show to be intimate and special, so reserve your ticket/s as soon as you can.
In partnership with The Dance Store Ph, they are giving away dance shoes as raffle prizes on the nights of the show.
