I only saw Lilo & Stitch for the first time this week. Thought it would a light, uplifting kid movie. Not expecting 1[.]5 hours of what is essentially a sobfest. On the other hand, seeing it for the first time when I was older I didn't miss the things I would have missed when I was a kid. On the other hand THE FISH CONTROLS THE WEATHER AND HER PARENTS DIED IN A CAR CRASH CAUSED BY BAD WEATHER NOOOO

I don't know that I would've found it quite so sad if I had watched it as a kid. Maybe I would've, I dunno. But like you said I definitely thought the tragedy of the situation was more readily apparent to me as an adult.

honestly it's not that i care that much if people don't ship wolfstar or even if they hate on it (bitches this shit is unsinkable) but i think it's fucking hilarious that there's always the same "they never showed any romantic relationship" and the person FUCKING SHIPS BLACKINNON is that not the funniest shit in the world like jfc sirius pointed her out to harry in a photograph along with like eighty other people and i just think it's hilarious when people hate on some ships for not making sense in canon and then ship something that's basically a sirius/oc relationship. i am pro-ship in any sense, but jesus christ, don't be the kid who hates on something for making no sense in canon and close your argument with "SIRIUS/A NAME WITH LITERALLY NO ACTUAL PERSONALITY EVER MENTIONED EVER 4 LYFE" because quite honestly it makes you dumb
