So I just went through the clowns vs miles tag and I loved it but one of the questions you answered brought up another in my mind. You said the closest 40k analogue to clowns would be orks...So do the clowns have some form of WAAAAAAGGH?

There is a rare and poorly understood (to non space clowns) phenomenon where one laughing clown in a crowd can cause the rest of the space clowns present to laugh as well, spreading at a geometric rate to all clowns within earshot, even if they’re unaware of the catalyst for the original’s mirth. The rate of the spread of the infectious laughter is proportional to the density and accumulated volume, can spread rather far, even across continents. The duration also depends on the amount of time the original laughing clown spends laughing, a particularly short laughing fit can still cause the laughter to spread out around them like a ripple in a pond, and a long instance hypothetically causing all clowns in the vicinity to laugh continuously.

Therefore a space clown laughing in Portland, Maine could theoretically spread a wave of laughter that can cause a clown in Portland, Oregon to laugh for seemingly no reason at all, given that there were enough clowns between them to act as a relay system.

Not every instance of laughing does this, caused by some sort of special soundwave in certain kinds of laughter. During the phenomenon, certain aspects of space clown physiology is boosted a small amounts, similar to an adrenaline rush.

This is called the Guffaw Effect.
