Wise words
"I’ve always found it strange when racers avoid racing because they are unsure of their fitness. I think that most people are unsure of their fitness. That shouldn’t keep you from racing if that’s what you want to do. The best way to get better and figure out what you need to focus your training on is by racing. Personally, I want to know where I’m at as soon as possible so this burning question can stop contributing to my general anxiety." - Dan Chabanov
After spending most of the Summer in the studio and in the darkroom, September means cyclo-cross and Sunday was week one for me at Nittany Cross in Pennsylvania.
Just to keep with the norm here is the obligatory Dan Chabanov photo swimming through the mud in the new green Richard Sachs kit.
Dan Chabanov hosted a Q&A with Jeremy Powers at Rapha Cycle Club New York (CCNYC)
"It’s not that I’m particularly interested in photographing bike stuff it’s just that it is my life so inevitably that’s what gets photographed."
-- Dan Chabanov
the obligatory dan chabanov picture from hpcx last sunday.
Probably one of the most recognized bikes today...Dan Chabanov's Stanridge Speed Highstreet painted by Death Spray Customs. I love the story behind the paint job. Head over to Prolly and read about it.
