Tom Cavanagh as Dan Dorian in Scrubs was so good it felt like fanfiction accidentally made canon. This man showed up, vibed, caused emotional damage, and left. Iconic behavior.

Canonically JD was an adhd-fueled little shit of a favorite-child, while Dan was the anger-fueled fuckup kid. Both to Barbara(who became an alcoholic during this period post divorce) and Samuel(who dipped constantly.) So of course I had to draw some of my headcanons as to what their homelife in Troutwood, Ohio would be like considering all that. And do adore them all heavily.

JD is about 8 here while dan is 13. Making it 1988 at the time
