With much of the world working from home these days, online auctions have become an important source for local ephemera. Here’s a good example, 4th Meridian Auctions in Penticton has an upcoming art auction closing January 30 with a number of poster prints from celebrated local artist Bob Masse. Masse was responsible for many of the promotional material put out by the Retinal Circus for instance, and his art nouveau style is well suited to the rock and roll of the 60s and beyond. Here are a couple examples, one from the ArtsWells Festival, and another from the Okanagan Steamfest.
