THE NOMADIC MESSENGER HATES THE DOCTOR
This Could be Something. Tom Ziller elaborates what we all were thinking: That the Timberwolves should have a decent offense, their defense is going to fall apart without AK, and they're going to be insane fun if they stay healthy. They probably will not completely, but this team should be relevant for a full season for the first time in 6 years. Enjoy them.
Flip Saunders, Medical Revolutionary. Ok, maybe he's not doing anything all that cutting edge medically, but he's taking some steps to make sure his roster doesn't miss 8549 games to injury again this year.
We Built This City on Pick And Rollllllsssssss. Joe Moore's assessment of the Pelicans rebuilding process over on At the Hive is excellent, and this team is shaping up to be my favorite 13-14 team already. Load your team with rebounding and athleticism, and run 58 million pick and rolls on offense, and I will watch you. Do it while wearing branding using a terrifyingly angry bird, and we're totally in business.
So Much Bobcats Analysis. Another Bobcats piece, this time by Chris Barnewall about their possible lineups. I'm positive Bobcats small-ball would be fun, and this offense should be interesting next year, but Chris, why aren't you factoring the Bobcats true top post option?
Serious Moment. On Dan Roundfield, the former Hawk who drowned trying to save his wife one year ago.
Unrelated: The NCAA is literally the worst.
