If I were Michigan Governor #GretchenWhitmer (@GEWhitmer), and I’d been told by Michigan Attorney General #DanaNessel (@MIAttyGen) and members of the #FederalBureauOfInvestigations (@FBI) that they'd arrested 13 members of two militia groups that had been running training exercises in preparation to kidnap and possibly murder me; I'd require an IV-drip of #Xanax to make me appear as poised, gracious, and upbeat as she was when speaking so eloquently of the shocking, mind-blowing, and downright terrifying events that had transpired. As Governor Whitmer says in the conclusion of her speech—the crux of which was that we should be fighting this disease and not each other—"You don’t have to agree with me, but I do ask one thing: Never forget that we are all in this, together. Let’s show a little kindness and a lot more empathy. Let’s give one another a little grace, and let’s take care of each other.” Yeah! What she said!
