What if she had asked her question then, after the Dundie Awards? Maybe they wouldn't have had to wait another two years for this.

I just watched Footloose the Musical, and it was so enthralling that I don’t think that I could ever watch the movie. I feel like it would just be disappointing after the highflying, electric, colorful performance put on by Sheridan High School. I have not been so fully consumed by my own suspension of disbelief in years. The set was simple, but ingenious (I expected nothing less from their set designer, she is a miracle worker); The costumes where incredibly well chosen (by another artist of the theater, whom I love dearly); The actors absolutely embodied their roles 150%. I SCOURED the senior boards looking for the young man who played Ren only to discover, to my utter shock and disbelief, that he was not, in fact, a senior. My favorite was the young man who played Uncle Wes (My brother! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!); ten out of ten no notes on his performance. What a profesional little (I mean big) gentleman! (<- He’s a senior.) Another important thing this Musical did for me was make me realize the true Himbo Supremacy of Willard Hewitt. Shout out to a friend of mine who absolutely killed it playing him! So, anyway, this musical changed my life. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Florence + the Machine really said single woman rights. I love the dark Celtic forest women vibe.

Any adult Reggies out there? Her core personality minus the rougher (and grosser) edges that naturally slough off after growing in adulthood is pretty much my ideal woman. Unfortunately I'm not a Conelly but an Esther. (200 hours is too much practice time before your first progress check though. Come on, Esther.)
