I ambitiously thought I just might be able to have these done in time for Valentine's Day, but after the first pose took me 3 days to get how I wanted with 5 more poses to go, I gave up on a deadline and just decided to work on it until I was mildly satisfied 😅

This pose pack includes 6 poses with the first 5 poses having 1 additional variation and the 6th pose having 2 variations. These dance poses are very much for a couple that's bickering or trying to one up the other through the dance rather than a lovely dovey ends in a kiss dance that a lot of dance poses tend to be, so keep that in mind. I may decide to make a more traditional happy, romantic version of this pack if anyone is interested in that, but not right now, I am very, very tired of looking at these poses anymore 🫠

POSE PACK: Broken Tango 1

I thought long and hard about what to practice posing on. As it turns out, I chose a difficult challenge for myself. I decided to try and create poses that at least vaguely resemble the "Broken Tango" dance from the movie Step Up.

I hate rigging hands in Blender. I tried really hard to make sure they didn't break. Working with the fingers and wrists was especially tough. I hope that in the future I'll get the hang of it.

On one hand, I regretted starting with dances. It turned out to be more difficult than I thought, especially when you need to create group poses. But since I named my pack "Broken Tango 1," I'll have to make "Broken Tango 2" as well, so I don't stop at what I've achieved. If you want to re-upload these poses to other resources, please keep a link to this original post and do not claim authorship. I'd really appreciate it!
