An Uruguayan friend advised me to check out Colonia de Sacramento, a local vacation spot for Buenos Aires’ folks. Colonia is a refreshing day trip from the Argentine city life. What a neat residential, small town that’s packed full of history, but not much Tango. The locals claim that Uruguay is home to the Tango, not Argentina. As it turns out, the dance started along the bay in the two countries.
