Dean first met Cas in the marketplace and things sorta went on from there. He never expected it to go so far as where he is now, standing in the middle of the jewelry store, trying to pick out a ring cos he and Cas are getting married, actually married.

Dean has no idea how he manages to find the ring, but it’s fucking perfect and he’ll never get over the look Cas gives him when he presents it to him at the door. He gets a wet kiss in return and Dean’s heart nearly leaps out of his chest.

Things just get even better from there and pretty soon they’re buying a house and Dean’s painting their picket fence white while Cas writes songs for his band, which Dean is now a singer in.

Every thing is perfect and Dean always has a song on his lips when he wakes up in the morning because life does go on and it’s wonderful because each morning he gets to wake up to Cas’s smile.
