I once was in a dancing group for about three to four years. I was going to a dance school that, honestly, wasn’t the best imo. Overall I didn’t feel like i fit in there. People there we open, confident and waay more sociable than me. long story short, attending that place caused me a lot of stress and quite a lot emotional breakdowns and it was bc of teachers there and quite toxic atmosphere. I remember one situation that caused me a lot of damage and I still feel bad about it even tho it wasn’t quite my fault (I can tell y’all if y’all want).
So today, a person from my old group contacted me and tried to make me want to go back to dance. I told her like three damn times that no, I don’t wanna go back to it, I moved on and feel way better without it all. She wouldn’t let go and said shit like “I mean, okay, it’s your decidion, but LISTEN......”. Only after I told her that I *might* go to a practice tomorrow then she finally let go. Now - I ain’t going to go. I’ve had enough of it two years ago and don’t want to go back. The worst thing is that she probs already told my old teacher that I’ll come and I won’t cuz I a) don’t want to b) have to go to church at that time.
I just wanted to share that with yall, cuz it got me by suprise. Thanks for reading and hope you’re having a great day.
