dancong oolong brewing is still a challenge to me; i think i need a little less leaf for this gaiwan (about 4g) and for now i'll stay at 95C flash steeps. it's probably a skill issue in not getting the most out of this tea, but i prefer either less oxidized oolongs or fully oxidised black tea. anyway it's alright to me once i adjust the brew parameters, and my partner enjoys it more than others i've brewed 🪺
