Reconnected with some old friends and we created a rwby fanteam team SCRD (scared and their lovey mentor Triss) my character is "Dandy" Dandelion and her weapon is a shotgun/shovel hybrid!

Managed to make myself do some crafting today for this little doll, on the grounds that she’s about 12cm tall and it’s physically impossible for anything at that size to take too long. Also I really want to be able to carry a doll around with me most of the time as a comfort or fidget object and heavens know she’s the right size for that. These aren’t her final eyes, just all I had that fit. She’s very small after all!

She’s a Frappzilla bloom doll, put together from a recent a la carte selection of bloom sized bits. I’m a sucker for a little elf! I have one of their full sized cast resin dolls and have to say, they’ve become one of my favorite doll companies. Their sculpts are almost always gender neutral and so whimsical! They’ve released bats, pandas, dragons, cats, dogs, axolotls, ghosts, and others that defy explanation. Also, they’re super affordable. This little one cost about $100 when you include the sandpaper needed to finish her, shipping, sales tax in my high sales tax state, and the $5 Walmart tank top I used for her clothes.

I couldn't for the life of me string this tiny Leafling's body, so I tried wire, but she ended up super floppy. 😓

Morningpaw (mine) and Cherrypaw (my buddy Robyn's) are actually characters in Dandelion Bloom, an 18+ zombie warriors role play! The group's still in its early stages, so there's not much of their story that's been actually played out yet. But I love to gush so!!! I've put what's going on with them under the cut.

Cherrypaw is ThunderClan's healer apprentice, and though he didn't want to be a healer he began experiencing visions from StarClan as a kit. Morningpaw is a half-clan WindClan apprentice, whose sister disappeared during their first training assessment and was declared dead. Because she's always been ostracized by a chunk of the clan due to her RiverClan heritage, and her sister was the leader of their duo, she's taken her sister's disappearance very badly.

During the gathering that sets the plot in motion, Mor is attacked and later witnesses a shadowy figure who warns her and her grandfather of war and failure. Haunted by the shade's very real bloody paws, and scared that WindClan's leader is going to exile all of the cats who fled the gathering, she tries to hide away in a sunflower field just over ThunderClan's side of the border so she can cry her eyes out and be left alone - but she’s immediately found by Cherrypaw.

When Mor learns Cherry's a healer, she dumps everything she's seen on him. But Cherry's a go-getter, who also had his own visions the night of the gathering. He convinces Morningpaw the two of them should go investigate the old abandoned barn on WindClan territory that her own vision pointed her towards! After the healers have an emergency meeting to meet with StarClan (where Cherry is also called out on their friendship >:3c).

And that's where things are right now in-story. But Cherrypaw pushes Morningpaw when she would rather shy away from things (and he doesn’t only look at her with pity), and his determination makes her want to actually prove herself. They're a very good pair, but it's gonna be a while before either of them realize where their feelings are headed.
