So.. demons can get more powerful the more souls they gather. And these boosts in power can come with being .. promoted, in a way, to a different kind of demon. One of the first (but not THE first) promotions is to a succubus/incubus… Jack thinks that’s a swell idea! Joey doesn’t.

So… sru Joey has a tendency to hide any aspects of himself that he deems negative or unlikeable because he really, really needs people to like him (this is due to past trauma)— but if you see through the masks he puts up without knowing why he does it (to keep from being hurt again) he seems kinda fake. But I’m pretty sure thren has said that Sammy is most attracted to Joey without any filters on and I was thinking about when that might happen first…
N I arrived at the idea of a party! Joey is a liiittle bit drunk but he feels safe enough to let his guard drop… and he goes from charming and upbeat and friendly, to bold and confident and loud and also a little bit flirty? and NOW the crush Joey had becomes mutual…
