My headcanons in my LPS AU are about parental responsibilities, since sooner or later I'll be showing the pets' children (just like with Orm, his friends, and my other characters):
1) The pets and their spouses have n children (I don't know the exact number at the moment) than Blythe, since she and Josh have the only daughter who is friends with the pets' children
2) Russell is a good father to his babies hedgehogs. As an intelligent parent, he not only checks their height and weight but also teaches them useful and smart things. Russell can be strict with them if they don't listen to him, but he's still very gentle with them. He takes good care of Lila when she's pregnant and tries not to give her negative emotions
3) Sunil is also a good father to his babies mongooses, but can be very nervous and anxious. During Daisy's pregnancy, Sunil worries too much about both Daisy and the offspring and tries to make her rest more and move less. He overprotects newborns, trying to make sure they sleep and eat well. As the children get older, Sunil teaches them the same things Russell does with his children, but he also teaches them magic tricks. He may sometimes scold them if they misbehave, but for the most part he tries not to be strict
4) Vinnie is so-so father for his babies geckos. Vinnie mostly relaxes when Sally is carrying eggs, but after laying, his paternal instincts can only awaken if the eggs are left unattended. After hatching, Vinnie and Sally raise them together
5) Zoe, Minka, Penny and Pepper care for their children the same way mothers would care for their children and they have good maternal instincts
