How I feel about this character: call me old fashioned but i was raised to serve my wife. i clean the dishes and cook her food. i do whatever she says bc she is my wife and she makes the rules around the house. she owns me. i am her property. if she ever cheats on me it's bc i was lacking.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Alina Starkov and Nikolai Lantsov depending on which way my bi-dar swings that day. Currently in a Zoyalina headspace thanks to sujaya and Jessie's domestic fluffy stories 🌞⛈️

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Tamar, Nadia, Genya, Nina (adopted daughter), Kuwei (adopted son)

My unpopular opinion about this character: there is no fun about simplifying her character, she is morally centerline as a person and that's on periodt. She is not an angel, she bullied Alina, wasn't very nice to her friends, (obviously had her issues but still no excuse) and isn't always the most tactful or sensitive BUT she's not a demon who stole Alina's bf or any such shit either, you have to take her as she comes which is a good but not a nice person.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish she had better developed female relationships (liliyana is DEAD she doesn't count sorry) like I did want to see her progress from being Genya's literal high school nemesis to her bestie,, and also for GOD'S sake I want her to have some likes and dislikes in daily life that don't centre around Ravka or men. Kind of like how Nina and Inej are drawn. As composite, well fleshed out characters.

this is definitely an incomplete list of my favs, but they’re all really, really cool and deserve the world.
