Marthe
We don't talk enough about Marthe. Her friendship and loyalty towards Ysabeau, her care for anyone and everyone who comes to Sept-Tours, her welcome of Diana and later of Sarah and Em, well before Ysabeau herself was fond of them. And more. ❤️
Oh, you married the older sister (?) of the friend/crush you connected with on a dangerous adventure as a teenager? She has some gender stuff going on and was pretty much the only person who could get through to him when he was extremely ill after one of the most traumatic experiences of his life? On a scale of Jerott Blyth to Sounis Sophos, how well did it go?
"We don’t need to play happy families."
"Matthew would want you to make them feel at home."

Marthe turns up at Midculter c. Queen's Play (while Francis is away). Richard handles it better than expected.
