Sorry for not checking my tags or I would have responded further. I was trying to make a comment that the "leave after cheating" comment is more idealistic than many people want to allow. if each person is 14, then yeah, it's easy. but when you have marriages to dissolve, children involved, threats of violence, and/or financial stability (among many other things) to worry about, it becomes a harder thing to worry about. plus for many women, courts favor the men so they lose a lot by leaving.

I understand. But as I said, for me is a very black and white subject.

Forgiving their partner can come from many different factors so be careful not to victim blame because that's often more complex than you can imagine, but I agree with the first sentiment.

I think you misunderstood or I couldnt make myself clear. I was not victim blaming at all. I was actually questioning what makes the victims forgive their partners after they cheat. For me it is very black and white: you cheat, you go - so I was simply curious.
