Ooof. Hmm.

I love the smell of concord grapes, of smoked cloves from a tobacco pipe (even tho I don’t smoke and am quite allergic to smoke in general), a woodfire on a cold cold night, any kind of baked good, pumpkin pie candles, burnt matches, vanilla sugared limes, the smell right before it snows, and at the very beginning of spring. Fresh gardenias and magnolias. 

and weirdly, the back of my cat’s head.

Wes, I am so confused by that post. I need multiple forms of confirmation on this because it makes no sense. Maybe it's regional?

like it makes no sense because to me if someone asks “what are you watching” then they want to know at least the title...and if they stay then they have to be brought up to speed on what’s happening like you can’t just jump into the middle of like ep 8 of a random show without at least a summary ?

why on earth would NTs see that as a rejection????? if anything it’s the opposite of a rejection but of a courtesy like “i want you to join in on this thing so i’m filling you in so you can enjoy it along with me”

but we’re the ones with bad social skills ??????

i can only assume so? like it takes about three eps before it starts sounding natural to me and then i unconsciously imitate speech patterns basically at the drop of a hat

@dangercupcakemurdericing: it’s alright, like I’m not checking to see who reblogs her commentary or anything and I can acknowledge that she has interesting things to say or whatever, but I really just fucking hate her because she triggered me so fucking bad because she thought I was kink shaming her when literally all I was trying to say was that people who ship incestous ships acknowledge that there’s valid reasons for people to be disgusted with incest and it was just. generally speaking the first thing ppl notice about me, after my height, are my eyes. they’re easily my most distinctive feature, I look like a damn disney character tbh. they’re huge and dark and expressive. and i had to fight very long and hard to feel good about them. i’ve told this story on here before but i had a really traumatizing incident in the 7th grade when the blue eyed white boy i was paired with for an exercise in biology class stared at my eyes and freaked the fuck out about how he couldn’t find my pupils or irises, that I didn’t have any. he literally yelled and bolted out of his chair pointing at me like i was some kind of eldritch lovecraftian abomination from ry’leh.

it fucked me up for a long time, and ofc no one ever makes odes to dark eyes

i mean OP was clearly just whining about a pet peeve of theirs but lbr, the fixation on eyes in prose is really only about one specific kind of eyes, the kind of eyes uplifted as the pinnacle of beauty, and the kind of eyes people like you and I don’t tend to have most of the time. even on here, in allegedly “woke” circles there is such an obsession with dark skinned models with blue eyes or just light eyes in general. nobody is especially fawning over dark brown or black eyes, they’re not considered special enough. or when they do get noted, they’re on a villainous character, or treated as a mark of evil. when’s the last blue eyed character that was a villain in something?

so you know whatever, I’m going to raise dark eyes up to that same standard. sure Gisele will wax poetic about Loghain’s steely blue eyes, and other ppl will wax poetic about her violet eyes, but I also go hard in the paint for Mari and Khedira’s dark eyes and how beautiful and soft they are.
